Case Study of a Satisfied Client
We
recently held a workshop for companies interested in gaining
the advantage in the war for Search Engine placements. One
company HUSH Nightclub in Katy, Texas(just outside
Houston) commissioned us to help their new nightclub's position
for a tremendous web-presence. With only a few months of work,
they quickly jumped to the top of the list. Following is an
excerpt from a chat session with Kelli who was the client
representing HUSH:
Warp 9 says:Thank

says: Thanks for having me here
Warp 9 says: For
the benefit of those with us, would you please tell us about
HUSH
Kell-Belle says: HUSH is a new
nightclub in Katy Texas that has a 30,000 foot dance floor
with the best in lighting and special effects.
Warp 9 says: For
those of you near Houston, you have to see this club to believe
it! It is first class all the way!
Warp 9 says: What
is the role of your website and how can we help you improve
its use?
Kell-Belle says: we
wanted to use our website to promote the club and special
functions including guest DJ's and live music performances.
Also to have a calendar of events and drink specials.
Kell-Belle says: we
came to you guys because we needed to know that our website
is being used and that people can find us quickly and easily
when they do searches on the internet for nightclubs in Houston.
Warp 9 says: So
you think that results in web searches plays a role in that?
Kell-Belle says: DEFINITELY!
If people go to the web and put in something to look for,
the chances are there will always be like a gajillion results.
So if you aren't on that first page or two, the people most
likely don't ever see your page. There is just too much competition
these days.
Warp 9 says: How
was your ranking when you came to us for help?
Kell-Belle says: well,
our site had only been up for a few months, but it was pretty
much non existent. I do think we were on page 11 if someone
looked for "houston nightclub"
Warp 9 says: How
long did it take for your results to improve and how are they
now?
Kell-Belle says: I
think we began to see results within a few weeks, but it really
took off after about 3 months. We went from around 50 hits
a day to over 2,300 a day by then. Our ranking is now FIRST
on Google, AOL and Yahoo!!
Warp 9 says: Do
you attribute that ranking to the improved hits?
Kell-Belle says: Oh
yeah!
Warp 9 says: What
advice do you have for those looking to improve their web-presence?
Kell-Belle says: the
old saying "you get what you pay for" and "let
the progfessionals do it" come to mind. Seriously,
we had guys in house who were "experts" about computers
and stuff, but they never got us the results for web hits.
It also takes someone who will be watching for things to change
according to the new rules they come out with.
Warp 9 says: So,
where do you plan to grow from here?
Kell-Belle says: We
are opening a Jaz bar here in Katy and a new club in Dallas
this summer. We wil use warp nine to do our website design
and also search engine placement for both those clubs!!
Warp 9 says: Great!
